As a teacher myself, I fully understand the need to find exactly the right school for each, individual pupil and beginning the search for a school for my own son was such a daunting process- until I was introduced to what Colin does. From there, the process of finding, visiting, selecting and eventually starting at a school was made seamless. I first met Colin at the British section of SHAPE International School. We had already decided our children would attend boarding school but given their ages, we wanted them to start in Year 3 and 4 we decided having some professional help would be better. Colin gave us some great advice and some leaflets on some lovely schools in the areas we’d asked for. We had some very specific needs, not educational, but our eldest boy is a gifted swimmer, and his only request was the school must have an indoor pool. This made the search quite challenging as I wanted the boys within a certain distance of family. I looked at several schools outside of Colin’s portfolio and Colin then contacted all of these school to ascertain their pastoral care and suitability for the boys. With us living in Belgium and the trying to conduct the search during lockdown Colin was invaluable. When we finally made it to the UK to look at our final two choices Colin met us and gave us his honest opinion on both and which he thought was more suited for our children. We may have discounted the final choice without the help, guidance and expertise Colin provided. I like that he’s honest and gives his professional and personal opinion, he’s not only interested in the academics but also ensuring the children get the pastoral care they needed and takes the time to learn how this is different for every child. 

I first met Mr Fleetwood in Germany during drawdown. With his help and support we found the perfect school for our daughter. When we came to see the school, he collected us from the airport and took us to the school. He organised everything for us including advice on getting CEA. I cannot recommend the service highly enough and several of our friends are now using the service.

Mr Fleetwood's assistance in our deliberations as to whether boarding was our son's best option and then in identifying a suitable school has been impressive and unstinting. He then secured for us favourable terms and has been responsive to any queries we have had throughout the process. Colin assisted me greatly in finding a suitable boarding school for my son from start to finish. He guided me through the process, physically attended 3 x different schools we were considering across UK and offered me fantastic unbiased advice drawing from his vast knowledge, skills and experience from working with HM Forces children in Germany. We decided very late in the year that boarding was an option that we would like to explore, Colin was quick to answer our initial queries, provided support and guidance over Zoom and then arranged school visits during a very tight schedule. Colin has extensive knowledge of the education sector and his honesty and independence allowed us to swiftly narrow down our choices. The ability to have him escort us on site visits was invaluable, without Colin’s advice & assistance I don’t know how we would have been able to place our daughter at the right school in such a short period. We’re absolutely delighted with the school that he recommended, it’s a perfect fit for our daughter and she’s settled quickly into boarding life.
